‘MAY BE ABLE TO HELP’: Police would like to speak Scunthorpe man Peter Balog, 22

Detectives leading the investigation into the murder of 20-year-old Abdullah Balouchi have identified one man they want to speak to as part of their ongoing inquiry, but are still appealing for help in tracing another.

Officers would like to find Peter Balog, 22, from Scunthorpe, who was believed to have been in the area at the time of the incident and “may be able to assist us with our enquiries”, Humberside Police said.

Mr Balouchi suffered fatal stab wounds in an incident in Peel Street, west Hull, on the evening of Wednesday, October 7.

Two men from Hull, aged 32 and 19, and a 17-year-old boy have been charged with Mr Balouchi’s murder and have been remanded into custody.
