Jimmy Carr brings ‘Terrible Things’ back to Bonus Arena after sell-out show

Back in Hull: Jimmy Carr

By Simon Bristow

Comedian Jimmy Carr has announced a return to Hull’s Bonus Arena, after his sell-out show at the venue last month.

Carr, star of the UK’s most streamed Netflix comedy special of 2021, will bring his “Terrible Things 2.0” to the arena on Saturday, October 21, 2023, with tickets on sale this Friday from 10am.

The show contains “jokes about all kinds of terrible things. Terrible things that might have affected you or people you know and love. But they’re just jokes - they are not the terrible things”, organisers said, adding: “Having political correctness at a comedy show is like having health and safety at a rodeo.”

Tickets are available from the arena or via Ticketmaster.
