Two arrested and drugs seized in north Hull police raid

‘TACKLING DRUG CRIME A PRIORITY’: Community Policing Sergeant Andy Walker

By Rick Lyon

Humberside Police have arrested two men and seized a quantity of Class A drugs following a raid on a property on Endike Lane, north Hull.

Officers from the force’s North Hull Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act today, during Neighbourhood Policing Week of Action 2023.

They recovered an amount of Class A drugs, as well as £700 in cash.

Two men were arrested on suspicion of being concerned with the supply of Class A drugs and remain in police custody.

Community Policing Sergeant Andy Waller said: “Tackling drug crimes remains a priority for us, as it has a big impact on local communities. Antisocial and disruptive behaviour often follows drug use and dealing, which negatively impacts our communities.

“I would like to thank all the people who contact us with information about drug dealing and drug-related crime in their areas, and if you have any concerns about what’s happening in your community, speak to your local officer, call into your nearest station or call our non-emergency 101 line.”

Anyone with any information can also call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
