The award-winning Street Food Nights are back for 2024, now in its seventh year! 

Enjoy a wide range of food and drink taking inspiration from all over the world in an open-air setting in Zebedee's Yard and Princes Dock Street. 

The event is a showcase of delicious delicacies with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. As well as tasty food, there’s also great entertainment from live musicians, DJs, and street theatre performers.

The annual Open Exhibition at the Ferens Art Gallery has celebrated the creativity of local amateur and professional artists since 1967. 

Each year the Open Exhibition provides an exciting opportunity for artists to display and sell artwork. Visitors can expect to see a fascinating array of artwork including impressive paintings, photography, and textiles, as well as several striking sculptures and ceramics, most of which will be for sale.

The Big Malarkey Festival is Hull’s first ever children’s literature festival for everyone aged 0-16 years, brought to you by Hull Libraries and funded by the James Reckitt Library Trust and Arts Council England. 

It’s a celebration of children’s literature, with four days of activities for schools (June 17-21) and a glorious weekend of fun for families (June 22-23). 

The festival includes amazing artists, authors, illustrators, performers, poets, writers, musicians, makers, dancers and dreamers!

A night dedicated to worshipping at the altar of Taylor Swift: non-stop Swifty all night, deep cuts, extended mixes, fan favourites and all the hits!

Humber Bridge Soapbox Derby 

This annual event, presented by Hessle Town Council and organised by Hull4Heroes, is a race for amateur teams who design and build their own soapbox carts, or “bogeys”, and compete for glory and prizes.
