Voodoo acrobats, duelling guitars & side-splitting comedy: Three big shows coming to Connexin Live

AUDIENCE INTERACTION: Comedian Paul Smith

By Simon Bristow

Three great new shows will be visiting Connexin Live in Hull next year, the venue has announced today.

Comedian Paul Smith will bring his new show Pablo to Hull for two nights in September 2024. And there will be returns to the venue for both Circus of Horrors and Classic Rock Show in the first two months of the year.

Smith is back and “better than ever” with his latest tour show, which visits Connexin Live on September 20 and 21, 2024. Get ready to experience the jaw-aching, laugh-out-loud comedy only Smith can deliver.

‘CULMINATES IN A SHOW-STOPPING GUITAR DUEL’: Classic Rock Show

This is Smith’s biggest and funniest tour show yet, and “promises to have you rolling around in laughter with every joke”. The show features a mix of his trademark audience interaction and hilarious true stories from his everyday life. Tickets for this show go on sale at 10am on Friday, September 1.

Classic Rock Show has confirmed a performance at Connexin Live on Saturday, February 10, 2024.

Bigger and better, and celebrating the very best of Classic Rock, the show is performed with note-for-note precision, bringing the original iconic and era-defining recordings back to life on stage, with an amazing sound and light show to match.

Anthem after anthem, riff after riff and solo after solo, it culminates in a show-stopping guitar duel that is not to be missed. Tickets for this show are on sale now.

VOODOO ACROBATS: Circus of Horrors

Circus of Horrors will return to the Myton Street venue on January 26, 2024. Audiences are invited to “hop on board a rock ‘n’ rollercoaster ride through a Cabaret of Curiosities, featuring sword-swallowers, “Hairculean aerialists” hanging from their hair while suspended above the auditorium, whirlwind jugglers, twisted contortionists, voodoo acrobats, pickled people, hula-hooping sideshow showgirls and more.

The cast has stormed into the finals of Britain’s Got Talent and is now a West End and worldwide hit. This show is suitable for ages 14+ and tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday, September 1.

Tickets for all shows will be available from www.connexinlivehull.com or by visiting Ticketmaster. VIP and hospitality upgrades are also available for all shows – email hull@eu.asmglobal.com for further details.
