Liam Rosenior has signed a new three-year contract as head coach of Hull City.
His new deal means he will remain at the MKM Stadium until the summer of 2026.
Rosenior was appointed in November 2022 and has guided City from 21st, one point above the relegation zone, to fifth place and into a Sky Bet Championship play-off position.
The 39-year-old has only lost 14 of his 52 games at the Tigers helm, overseeing a transformation in playing style and assembling a vibrant team with an abundance of exciting young talent.
Rosenior said: “I’m delighted. There’s no place I’d rather be. Acun [Ilıcalı, owner and chairman] and Tan [Kesler, vice-chairman] have done amazing work in my time here and the players and backroom staff have been magnificent.
“Justin [Walker] and Ben [Warner], who I brought with me from Derby, and Daws [Andy Dawson] and Baz [Barry Richardson] have supported me unbelievably well.
“For me to commit my future to the club was never in doubt. I absolutely love it here. We have to make sure this is the start of the journey and, hopefully, a successful one.
“Everything we’re doing, everything we work towards, is completely aligned and that’s why a lot of progress has been made.
“I’m so proud to represent this club as manager and I’m really looking forward to seeing what the next few years hold for us. Hopefully, we can create a lot of really good memories.”
