Rural broadband provider Quickline Communications has been announced as a new commercial partner for Hull City for the rest of the season.

Quickline will collaborate with the club to bring new initiatives to supporters and deliver benefits to communities across the East Riding and Northern Lincolnshire, where it operates.

The partnership kicks off this week, with Quickline offering hundreds of free drinks to fans attending the Sheffield Wednesday match tomorrow night. Over the coming months, fans can also look forward to special giveaways, competitions and events hosted by Quickline.

As part of the agreement, Quickline will distribute free match tickets to schools and community groups, offer exclusive signed merchandise and team up with current and former Hull City players to deliver events for young people across the region.

To wrap up the season, Quickline will host a competition in which two grassroots football teams will win a ‘day in the life’ experience event with Hull City. The teams will train with first team coaches, use the players’ dressing room, dine in the team canteen and participate in professional pre and post-match routines at the club’s training ground.

Quickline’s branding will feature prominently on home matchdays at the MKM Stadium, with LED advertising, concourse displays and appearances in the official matchday programme.

Quickline delivers award-winning broadband to rural and hard-to-reach communities in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. The company’s innovative hybrid network provides high speed connectivity to communities left behind by other providers, enabling residents and businesses to thrive in the digital age.

The collaboration is further demonstration of Quickline’s commitment to making a positive impact on communities where it is delivering a broadband network. Underpinned by its ‘QFutures’ programme, the company is focused on educating people, enriching livelihoods and enhancing the environments where it builds.

Earlier this year Quickline was awarded four Project Gigabit contracts which will provide gigabit-capable broadband to 170,000 hard-to-reach premises across the whole of Yorkshire and majority of Lincolnshire, including approximately 72,000 located in the East Riding and Lincolnshire.

Project Gigabit is a government-funded programme enabling communities that would otherwise miss out on access to fast, reliable gigabit-capable broadband.

Andrew Clark, head of commercial and marketing at Hull City, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Quickline on board and excited to work with them to the benefit of both parties.

“Quickline will be using the City brand to support their marketing efforts in rural areas across the wider Yorkshire region and providing supporters with further opportunities to engage with the club.”

Kat Jeffery, head of marketing at Quickline, said: “As our network continues to expand across East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, this partnership with Hull City allows us to connect with a larger audience. More importantly, it provides meaningful ways to engage with and support rural communities through giveaways, events, and experiences that bring people together.

“We’re especially excited about the focus on grassroots football and the promotion of health and wellbeing among children which builds on the foundations we’ve laid through our Brownlee Foundation sponsorship, and we look forward to making an even bigger impact.”
