Paolo Nutini announces new album and date at Bonus Arena

By Simon Bristow

Singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini will play at Hull’s Bonus Arena in October as part of a UK tour following the release of his new album.

The Scot’s new album, Last Night In The Bittersweet, will be released this summer, and he will visit the 3,500-capacity arena on Saturday, October 29.

The date is part of a UK tour that also takes in London’s Alexandra Palace and venues in Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.

Tickets for the Hull show go on general sale at 9am on Wednesday, May 25, and will be available from Ticketmaster or the arena.

The 35-year-old surprised fans with two new songs – Through The Echoes, and Lose It – earlier this month, his first new material since 2014. He has also just completed a run of very small UK shows, his first in seven years.

Last Night In The Bittersweet, due for release on July 1, will be Nutini’s fourth album and his first since Caustic Love in 2014. His second album, Sunny Side Up, went straight in at Number One on the UK Albums Chart.

Standing and seated tickets will be available for the Hull gig. Standing areas are for over-14s only. Under-14s can attend in seated areas but must be accompanied by an adult.
