Acclaimed singer-songwriter Nick Harper will play Hull’s Wrecking Ball Arts Centre later this month as part of his autumn tour.

Harper, who has been described as “one of the finest guitarists of his generation” will perform at the Whitefriargate venue on Saturday, November 26.

Event organiser Rich Duffy-Howard said: “We’re really excited to announce that we’re teaming up with Wrecking Ball Arts Centre to welcome Nick Harper back to Hull before his eagerly anticipated brand new studio album release.

“Nick’s being coming to Hull since we put on his first out of town solo show together in 1994 and he’s been making friends here ever since. As Rob Adams from the Glasgow Herald says: ‘If you've never seen Harper live, you're missing out on one of the musical phenomenons of our age’.”

The autumn shows will feature old favourites, a few forgotten gems from his extensive back catalogue, and a taster or two from his forthcoming album.

Tickets cost £15 and available from the venue here.
