Tigers reveal new third kit in time for weekend trip to Humber rivals

LAUNCH: The new third kit, revealed today

By Simon Bristow

Hull City have revealed the club’s new Kappa third kit for the 2023/24 Sky Bet Championship season.

Sponsored by principal partner Corendon Airlines, the bespoke third shirt sees City Tigers don entirely blue threads for the first time since 2017/18, with a touch of amber on the collar, sleeves and sponsors, as well as ‘The Tigers’ lettering on the neck.

The famous Omini logo of new technical partner Kappa – depicting the silhouette of a man and woman leaning against each other – is displayed on the chest and both shoulders.

The Kombat Pro jersey has been specifically designed with ultra-light fabrics and nylon seams to offer maximum comfort and elasticity.

Hidroway protection technology guarantees breathability and allows body heat to escape, with every detail tailored to remove skin irritation.

The shorts are also blue with amber trim and an elasticated waistband, while the knitted blue socks with amber turnover have ‘Hull City’ lettering on the front.

Supporters will get a first glimpse of the new strip in action at this weekend’s pre-season friendly against Grimsby Town at Blundell Park.

An on-sale date will be confirmed in due course.

The 50 lucky members who were invited to the opening of the Tiger Leisure store at St Stephen’s Shopping Centre this afternoon were given an exclusive first look at the new kit.
