Man charged with murder of Neville Morrison in Bransholme

A 37-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Neville Morrison.

Police were called to a property in Roborough Close, Bransholme, at about 12.10am on Sunday following reports of concern for safety.

Mr Morrison, 53, was found to have suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Today Humberside Police revealed James Hayman, of Broadstone Close, Bransholme, has been charged with murder. He was remanded in custody to appear at Hull Magistrates Court later today.

Two other people arrested as part of the police investigation have both been released on bail as enquiries continue.

A force spokesperson said: “Neville’s family are being supported by specially trained officers. Our thoughts are with his loved ones, who have asked for privacy at this very sad time.”
