‘INCREDIBLE DEMAND’: Michael McIntyre

By Simon Bristow

Comedian Michael McIntyre has added a second Bonus Arena date to his UK tour - after 3,000 tickets were snapped up within minutes of going on sale this morning.

The Myton Street venue said it had added a second date - Thursday, April 25, 2024 - following “incredible demand” for tickets to the previously announced show on Friday, April 26 next year.

All tickets and VIP hospitality upgrades were sold out within minutes of going on sale at 10am on Friday.

Tickets for the additional date are on sale now.

McIntyre’s new show, MACNIFICENT!, comes five years after his last tour. His previous tours have sold over four million tickets and broken box-office records around the world.

He is the host of two of the BBC’s most successful entertainment shows, the BAFTA-winning Michael McIntyre’s Big Show and The Wheel, which he devised and also hosts for NBC in America.

Regarded as one of the leading performers of observational comedy, McIntyre’s trademark is turning everyday situations into masterclasses of human exasperation in routines which have struck a chord with millions of fans.
