Man charged with murder of Scott Akester

A man has been charged with the murder of Scott Akester.

Mr Akester, 31, was assaulted outside a pub in Grandale, Sutton Park, in the early hours of Saturday and later died in hospital.

Today, Humberside Police revealed Michael Pearson, 29, of Saltshouse Road, east Hull, has been charged with his murder and is due to appear at Hull Magistrates Court.
