Man, 21, charged with murder of teenager Connor Lyons

A 21-year-old Hull man has been charged with the murder of Bransholme teenager Connor Lyons.

Cole Jarvis, of Stroud Crescent West, was charged last night and remanded in custody to appear at Hull Magistrates Court this morning.

Connor’s body was found on the banks of the River Hull, at Ennerdale, on the morning of Tuesday, January 19.

His family has been informed of the development in the case and are being supported by specialist officers.

Detective Chief Inspector Rhod Troake said: “Once again, I would like to thank everyone who came forward with information to assist us in our investigation.

“Our thoughts remain with Connor’s family and loved ones.”
