‘Not for everyone’: Top comic Jimmy Carr returns to Connexin Live

Comedian Jimmy Carr has announced two new shows at Connexin Live following his appearance at the Myton Street venue last month.

Carr is touring his new show, ‘Jimmy Carr: Laughs Funny’, and will give two further performances on Saturday, November 22, at 7pm and 9.30pm.

Tickets for both shows goes on sale on Friday at 10am.

If you like fast-paced, edgy one-liners then get ready to be happy, organisers said. But they also acknowledged “some people are repelled by Jimmy's dark brand of comedy”, adding: “This show is not for them.”

Each performance will feature 90 minutes of solid jokes with no interval. Doors will open an hour before each show.
