‘Jungle Cruise’ star Jack Whitehall to road test new material at Bonus Arena

SUPERSTAR: Tickets for Jack Whitehall’s Hull show go on sale on Friday

By Simon Bristow

Comedy superstar Jack Whitehall will be in Hull next month as he tries out new material.

The star of Disney’s Jungle Cruise will visit the Bonus Arena on Tuesday, April 4 in a rare opportunity to see this international stand-up test drive his new material.

Tickets for this all-seated event go on sale on Friday at 10am.

Whitehall previously visited the Bonus Arena for two sold out shows in late 2019.

Widely celebrated for his smash-hit show comedy tours, Whitehall has also starred in Travels With My Father (Netflix, 2017-21), the BBC’s adaptation of Decline & Fall (2017), Bad Education (BBC 2012-14), and A League Of Their Own, which received a BAFTA Award in 2014 for ‘Best Comedy Entertainment Programme’.

Whitehall can also be seen in Disney’s The Nutcracker And The Four Realms (2018), Amazon’s Good Omens (2019) and Clifford The Big Red Dog (2021). In late 2021, he starred in Disney’s blockbuster adventure, Jungle Cruise, opposite Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt.

The news of Whitehall’s performance follows the arena’s announcement last month that comedy superstar Michael McIntyre would visit the venue in 2024. After the first show sold out in minutes, despite going on sale 14 months in advance, a second night has also now fully sold out.

Tickets go on general sale on Friday at 10am from www.bonusarenahull.com or by visiting Ticketmaster. VIP and hospitality upgrades are also available for all shows: email hull@eu.asmglobal.com for further details.
