People are invited to have their say on traffic and transport issues in Hull at a drop-in session this week.

A bus will be parked in King Edward Square, city centre, on Friday for people to stop and voice their opinions.

It will open from 9am-4pm for people to visit and talk to council officers about transport and travel issues and fill in a survey.

Councillor Dean Kirk, Portfolio Holder for Transportation, Roads and Highways, said: “Now is the chance to have your say on how future transport strategies are developed.

“We want people who live, visit and travel around the city to share their views on how we develop plans to implement a more sustainable and accessible transport system for everyone, and the feedback you provide in this survey is absolutely critical to this.

“As part of the survey, we want to know about issues on local roads, how you travel, why you choose your preferred mode of transport and what, if anything, would make you change the way that you travel.”

The survey is the first of a series of consultations that will take place over the next few months asking for the public’s opinion on transport plans in Hull.

The survey can be found on the Hull City Council website here . Alternatively, email panel@hullcc.gov.uk or text panel to 07795 563 000.
