90s pop star Gabrielle to play Connexin Live

By Simon Bristow, Co-Editor

Nineties pop star Gabrielle will play in Hull next year as part of an extended arena tour announced today.

As part of what will be her biggest UK tour to date, the singer visits Connexin Live on April 8, 2025, with tickets on sale from 9am this Friday (February 9).

After selling-out all 32 nights during last year’s ‘30 Years of Dreaming’ tour, Gabrielle has announced a bigger run of shows for 2025, including at The O2 in London.

She will be joined by special guest Tunde of Lighthouse Family on all dates.

Gabrielle saaid: “I had such a great time on the ‘30 Years of Dreaming’ tour that I can't wait to do it all again on some even bigger stages including The O2. With some new songs mixed with the old favourites, I’m also very excited to have Tunde of Lighthouse Family joining me on the road.

“It’s going to be amazing, hope to see you there!”

The news comes as her current single A Place In Your Heart becomes a major airplay hit. The rock ‘n’ soul anthem was premiered on Zoe Ball’s Radio 2 show before being highlighted as the station’s Record of the Week and is now on their B-list.

The single is the title track from Gabrielle’s eagerly anticipated new album, which follows on May 10th.

Continuing her partnership with producer and co-writer Ian Barter (Paloma Faith, Amy Winehouse), the album also features a very special guest on Good Enough in the shape of Mahalia, who has just been nominated for Best New Artist and Best R&B Act at the BRIT Awards.

Fans who pre-order the new album HERE will receive access to an exclusive ticket pre-sale.

Gabrielle will also play an array of major festivals and large outdoor shows this summer.
