Councillor Alison Collinson, Chair of Hull Culture & Leisure Ltd, said: “This exhibition highlights the part Hull’s Jewish community played in World War One, whether in the military or on the home front. It reminds us to learn from history and remember those who suffered in war over a century ago.”

The exhibition runs until Thursday, March 30 and is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

There will be also be an opportunity for people to share their family stories with the project team on Tuesday, March 14 and Wednesday, March 15. Anyone who may have Jewish ancestry can research their family history with assistance from representatives of We Were There Too.
