Elf The Musical coming to Hull for two shows this Christmas

By Simon Bristow, Co-Editor

The smash hit cult Christmas movie Elf is coming to the Connexin Live stage later this year.

The Hollywood blockbuster movie has been supersized into a live musical spectacular for this Christmas and will visit the Hull arean for two shows on December 27.

The show will feature a massive stage featuring amazing film backdrops on a huge LED screen, plus a mobile stage that travels the auditorium, so everyone gets a close-up view of the action.

The presentation features Santa’s flying sleigh, an audience snowball fight, an indoor snowstorm, a giant candy cane journey from the North Pole, aerial cirque stars and giant TV screens so you don’t miss any of the spectacle.

Cast details and further information on the tour – which visits arenas across the country this Christmas – will be announced soon.

A spokesman for Connexin Live said: “We are over the moon to be hosting Elf The Musical this Christmas. Elf Is one of the all time great Christmas movies and we are delighted the arena tour will be visiting Hull for the very first time.

“Don’t be a cotton-headed ninny muggins, make sure you grab your tickets to see the hottest Christmas show in town.”

The shows will take place at 11am and 4pm on December 27.

Tickets – priced from £27.25 including booking fees – for Elf The Musical will be available from 10am on Friday, May 24 from the venue or from new official ticketing partner AXS here.

VIP and hospitality upgrades are also available for all shows; email hull@eu.asmglobal.com for further details.
