Man and boy, 16, charged with murdering David Hunt

A man and a boy have been charged with murdering 45-year-old David Hunt.

Mr Hunt was found with stab wounds outside a property in Arundel Close, east Hull, at around 10pm on Wednesday, June 19.

He was rushed to hospital for treatment but died from his injuries soon after.

Dean Dawkins, 20, of Cherry Nook Road, Huddersfield, and a 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have both been charged with Mr Hunt’s murder.

Barry Leiper, 47, of Hull, has been charged with assisting an offender.

All three appeared at Hull Magistrates Court today and were remanded in custody to reappear at a later date.
