Corey Dobbe murder: Police renew appeals to find ‘wanted man’
Detectives have renewed their appeal to help find the chief suspect in the Corey Dobbe murder inquiry.
Anyone providing information leading to the arrest of Moise Djuku, pictured above, could claim a £5,000 reward from Crimestoppers.
Humberside Police say they are following “a number of important new lines of enquiries” after previous appeals to locate Mr Djuku, but he remains a “wanted man”.
Officers have also revealed Mr Djuku is believed to have links to Leeds, Sheffield, and Manchester.
Detective Chief Inspector Alan Curtis, senior investigation officer, said: “Throughout the course of the investigation detectives have been working tirelessly around the clock following up on lines of enquiry provided to us.
“There has been a huge police operation surrounding this investigation and I’d like to thank members of the public for their continued support throughout the investigation.
“I would ask again for anyone who knows where Moise Djuku is to come forward and give us that vital information.”
Corey suffered fatal stab wounds in an incident in Harleston Close, east Hull, on June 13. He was treated at the scene but died a short time later.
On June 24, The Hull Story revealed that three arrests have already been made as part of the inquiry, including two on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. The force has declined to give the ages or gender of those arrested, or say what the third person was arrested for.
The independent charity Crimestoppers announced it was offering the reward the following day.
However, information passed directly to police would not qualify for the reward. Anyone wanting to claim it should contact the charity by using the online form www.crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling 0800 555 111.
Alternatively, call Humberside Police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 16/60891/21.
