Global ticketing platform AXS has become the new ticketing partner for Hull’s Connexin Live arena.

The company said today’s announcement “marks a significant step towards enhancing ticketing experiences for all customers, whilst also helping to prevent touts and inflated ticket prices”.

The announcement is a result of a new partnership between AXS, a leading company in live entertainment and sports ticketing, and ASM Global, the world’s largest venue management and services company whch operates Connexin Live.

AXS has worked on some of the world’s most high-profile events and venues, including the Taylor Swift Era’s Tour and, more recently, the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Sam Ryder, general manager at Connexin Live, said: “We are thrilled to be working with AXS as our new ticket partner. We are a young venue, but since we opened in 2018 we feel Connexin Live Hull has made a real impact within the local community.

“With AXS’s innovative technology and commitment to excellence, we're confident that this partnership will elevate the overall event experience for our guests, further cementing us as the ultimate destination for live entertainment in the area.

The deal covers other UK venues including York Barbican and Playhouse Whitley Bay.

“We are thrilled to be working with ASM, and welcome these esteemed venues to AXS,” said Chris Lipscomb, managing director for AXS UK.

“This announcement not only reflects our long-standing commitment to provide the best consumer ticketing experiences, but also allows us to continue revolutionising the ticketing industry alongside powerhouse ASM Global.

“With a history of delivering top-level shows and incredible new talent, we’re excited to help bring even more special moments to these venues across the UK.
