Carvalho joins Tigers on loan from Liverpool

Hull City have signed attacking midfielder Fábio Carvalho on loan from Premier League giants Liverpool.
The skilful 21-year-old, who has Championship promotion-winning experience and played in the Premier League, Bundesliga and Champions League, joins the Tigers for the rest of the 2023/24 season.
The creative forward has made 21 appearances for the Reds – winning the Community Shield and scoring against AFC Bournemouth, Newcastle United and Manchester City – since signing from Fulham in July 2022.
Carvalho’s exceptional form in his final season at Craven Cottage earned him a place in the PFA Team of the Year, recording 19 goal contributions as Marco Silva’s Whites clinched the second-tier title.
Shortlisted for the 2022 European Golden Boy award, Carvalho spent the first half of this season on loan in Germany with RB Leipzig, featuring 15 times and lifting the DFL-Supercup on debut.
The former England youth international has won four caps for his native Portugal at Under-21s level, netting two and assisting two.

“Fábio is excited to be coming here and I’m delighted to be working with him to the end of the season. Technically, he’s outstanding. He can assist, score and run in behind. He’s brave, quick, very balanced and takes the ball.
