Humberside Police want to speak to this man in connection with the sexual assault of a woman in Hull city centre.

The attack happened on Carr Lane at around 3am on Tuesday, September 19.

Inspector Mark Skelton said: “As a part of the investigation, we have now established that a woman was walking along Carr Lane when she was approached by a man near to the junction of South Street.

“The man is believed to have spoken to the woman and allegedly sexually assaulted her before the woman fled Carr Lane and sought safety with assistance from a member of the public on Paragon Street.

“Since the report was made to us, over the course of the last three days, various investigations have been undertaken by detectives. This includes reviewing CCTV footage of the area, as well as speaking with local businesses to try and identify any potential witnesses.

“Following extensive lines of enquiry, we are now in a position to release CCTV images of a man we believe could assist with our ongoing enquiries.
