A reward of up to £10,000 is being offered for information relating to the murder of Abdullah Balouchi in Hull.

The independent charity Crimestoppers is offering the reward for help in tracing two men sought by detectives as part of their ongoing investigation.

The first is Scunthorpe man Peter Balogh, pictured above, who has still not been traced despite previous appeals for help in finding him.

Police have now also released images of a second man, pictured below, whom they would like to identify and locate. He was believed to have been in the area at the time of the incident.

Detective Chief Inspector Bob Clark, senior investigating officer, said: “We are renewing our appeal for Mr Balog to come forward and for help to identify this second man.

“I would appeal for anyone who has information about either man’s whereabouts to get in touch.

“We want any information to keep coming in so please get in contact with anything you might know, even if you think it isn’t important. It could be crucial to us.”

Mr Balouchi, who was 20, suffered fatal stab wounds in Peel Street, west Hull, on the evening of Wednesday, October 7, and died in hospital.

Three men from Hull, aged 32, 19, and 18, and a 17-year-old boy, have been charged with his murder and remanded into custody.

An extensive investigation by Humberside Police’s Major Crime Team is continuing into Mr Balouchi’s murder.
