Bad Boy Chiller Crew head to Hull as part of UK tour

By Simon Bristow

Bradford’s hometown heroes the Bad Boy Chiller Crew will visit Connexin Live later this year as part of their new UK tour.

The band will visit Hull on Friday, November 24 to celebrate the release of a brand new single featuring the revered MC and Leeds native Window Kid, alongside burgeoning UK rap talent Charlie Choppa.

The crew stormed into 2023 with their biggest headline tour to date, performing sold-out shows at venues across the country.

Tickets for the standing/seated gig go on sale next Friday.

Following the release of the recent tour’s crowd-favourite Spaceship, and the Tom Zanetti collaborative single George Best, the boys today share Sliding.

The latest club-charged anthem is steeped in tongue-in-cheek lyricism and an addictive organ bassline. Window Kid steps up to the plate with a debaucherous guest verse, backed by a four-to-the-floor rhythm and his trademark bouncy delivery. Bassline rap up and comer Charlie Choppa rains fire on the TACTICS produced beat with slick vocal passes and matter-of-fact bars.

Sliding will be appear on their next album Influential, coming early October.

The crew made BRIT Awards history this year, arriving at the esteemed red carpet via horse and carriage in true BBCC style, and the boys performed live at the show having been nominated for Group Of The Year.

The crew’s debut album Disrespectful was met with widespread acclaim when it was released in February of last year, peaking at No 2 on the Official Album Charts, second only to Ed Sheeran in a well-fought chart battle.

BMW also reached the UK Top 10, going onto be one of the best-selling singles of 2022. The crew made standout appearances at some of the biggest festivals, including Primavera Sound, Glastonbury and Parklife.

Standing and seated tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday, September 8 and will be available from www.connexinlivehull.com or by visiting Ticketmaster. VIP and hospitality upgrades are available for all shows; email hull@eu.asmglobal.com for further details.
