Three dead in A63 crash tragedy

Three people have died and a fourth is in a critical condition following a crash on the A63 last night.

Two men and a woman were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened on the westbound carriageway near Melton at about 10pm, police said. A third man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, and is in a critical condition.

Humberside Police said the incident happened when a white BMW 1 Series collided with a grey Peugeot 3008 before coming to a stop and setting alight.

“Specially trained officers have been assigned to offer support to individuals involved and their families at this difficult time,” a spokesperson added.

Officers investigating the crash are appealing for witnesses to come forward, including anyone with dashcam footage who was driving in the area at the time.
